Makeup and Hair

I have been a licensed cosmetologist since 2000. I would be honored if you choose to have me be a part of your session from start to finish!

Hair styles start at $30 and makeup starts at $45

If you plan to have me style your hair, it’s best if you come with clean dry hair. We have a fully  functioning salon on site so any hair needs can be met there.

If you choose to have me do your makeup please come to your session with a clean, moisturized face. I have an extensive makeup kit on hand including false eyelashes so there is no need for you to bring anything of your own.

If you choose to have your shoot the same day as a friend, I will most likely bring on another licensed professional to help me do hair and makeup.

You may also choose to have your hair and makeup done by your favorite artists if you’d like. Just let me know ahead of time so I can plan accordingly.

Wardrobe

I have an ever growing wardrobe for women. You are more than welcome to try things on in case you wish to borrow something for your session.

For family portraits, I don’t have much in the way of clothing for children though and I don’t have anything for men. I suggest you choose items that are elegant and timeless.

 

Day of your shoot

On the day of your shoot, use a good body scrub  during your morning shower, and moisturize your skin really well so you have beautiful glowing skin. It’s best to wear loose fitting clothes before your session so you don’t end up with clothing imprints on your body from elastic bands, socks, tight jeans, etc. There is no need to use a tanning spray. I have some body makeup we can put on you to even out tan lines if necessary.
